  1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1.1 These regulations are directed to all participants of the tournaments.

1.2 The regulations define the conditions of participation and the rules of conduct for tournament participants, particularly the rules governing:

1.4 Obligations of the tournament participants.

1.5 Rights of the tournament participants.

1.6 Responsibility of the tournament participants for behavior that does not comply with the regulations.

2.1 To identify the best players.

2.2 To popularize table tennis.

2.3 To improve the skills of the players.

2.4 To identify sports talents.

2.5 To promote a healthy lifestyle.

  1. TOURNAMENT ORGANIZER

3.1 The management and organization of the tournaments mentioned in section 4 of the regulations are carried out by TTbattle.com.

3.2 Players are required to sign and adhere to the TTBattle.com tournament declaration, as indicated in Annex No. 1 to the regulations.

  1. TOURNAMENT DATES
    4.1 The tournaments take place 7 days a week, with the possible exception of tournaments on holidays and days off.
  2. FINANCING CONDITIONS

5.1 The tournaments are financed by TTbattle.com.

5.2 Participants are not required to pay any fees for participating in the tournaments.

5.3 Participants are provided with accommodation and meals for the duration of the tournament.

5.4 Participants bear the costs associated with participation in the competitions, particularly such as the purchase of sports equipment or insurance.

  1. TOURNAMENT PARTICIPANTS

6.1 The tournament dates are announced in mass media, which may include radio, television, press, or the Internet.

6.2 Any person who is at least 18 years old and meets the conditions specified in the regulations may participate in the tournament.

6.3 Registration is possible in any way, but for technical reasons, the Organizer recommends registration via email: info.ttbattle@gmail.com.

6.4 In the event of a participant’s withdrawal from the tournament, the Organizer may appoint a new tournament participant.

6.6 A participant’s involvement in the tournament is equivalent to their agreement to abide by the rules outlined in these regulations.

6.7 Tournament participants must have appropriate attire and sports equipment as well as an identification document.

  1. TOURNAMENT PROCEEDINGS

7.1 The tournaments are held in the following categories, depending on the participants’ ranking.

7.2 The tournament can take place at any time from Monday to Sunday.

7.3 The tournaments are played in accordance with the table tennis rules approved by the ITTF (International Table Tennis Federation).

7.4 Each group mentioned in section 7 of the regulations consists of 6 players participating in the tournament.

7.5 The tournaments consist of the following stages:
Stage 1 – Group phase, where participants compete in a „round-robin” system, and the players’ positions in the group phase are determined based on the total points accumulated according to the following system: win = 1 point, loss = 0 points.

In case of a tie between two or more participants, the position in the group phase is determined by the following criteria:

◾️ Number of sets won;
◾️ Difference between sets won and lost;
◾️ Number of points scored;
◾️ Difference between points scored and lost;
◾️ Head-to-head results of the compared participants (only when comparing two participants);

7.6 The match is played until one of the players wins 3 sets.

7.7 In the event of disqualification, exclusion, or withdrawal of a player, the tournament will continue. In the case of a player’s withdrawal, the points they have earned are counted. In the case of disqualification, etc., the points are canceled and do not affect the final standings. The tournament can continue with three participants.

  1. PRIZES FOR WINNERS

8.1 In each tournament, there is a prize pool to be won, the amount of which, the method of awarding, and the distribution among the participants will be determined by the Organizer no later than 7 days before the start of the specific tournament.

8.2 The date of entitlement to the prize is the day the official winners are announced or the day the participant is notified of their victory.

8.3 The person entitled to receive the prize must claim it within 14 days from the date of entitlement unless the Organizer has specified a different date individually for the specific prize.

8.4 If the prize is not claimed within the aforementioned period, the right to the prize expires.

8.5 The participant agrees to the processing of the personal data provided necessary for the issuance/payment of the prize by the Organizer.

8.6 In the case of a cash prize, if it exceeds the statutory value limit, it is subject to a flat income tax of 10%. In such a case, the Organizer will deduct the tax from the total winnings.

8.7 In the case of a taxable cash prize, the Organizer will pay the participant an amount reduced by 10% of the tax on the winnings.

8.8 The Tournament Organizer undertakes to pay the participant the cash prize due within 14 days from the date the participant becomes entitled to it.

  1. SAFETY AND RESPONSIBILITY

9.1 The tournaments will be held at a facility adapted for table tennis, with all safety measures in place.

9.2 The Organizer is not responsible for accidental incidents that may occur during the tournament.

9.3 The Organizer does not provide participants with any form of insurance, particularly life insurance, health insurance, liability insurance in connection with illness, injury, death, or bodily harm, nor accident insurance (NNW insurance) in connection with any damage that may occur in connection with presence and/or participation in the tournament organized by ttbattle.com is not obliged to satisfy any claims for compensation related to this.

9.4 The responsibility for the participant’s health rests with the participant, who signs a declaration of no contraindications to participate in the sports tournament, which is included in Annex No. 1.
